A Journey from Isolation to Empowerment – Michelle’s Story

The journey of Collective Wisdom for Complex Kids started with my personal experiences.

I understand the frustration, fear, and isolation that can come with raising a complex child. I want parents to know they are not alone because I felt alone.

I was the parent who couldn’t take her child to a restaurant because of tantrums. I thought I was doing something wrong. I spent hours looking for answers at the pediatrician’s office weekly, trying to understand why my son wasn’t sleeping or speaking like the other kids his age were.

My son’s early struggles with eating and speech, coupled with the various diagnoses we encountered inspired me to seek solutions not just for my family but for all families facing similar challenges.
